This HD sample was shot on the Z1U using the Basson Gullwing 500 steadicam, as we walked down the side of a mountain. The file was compressed using Windows Media 9, the codec that will be used for HD DVD and Blue Ray DVD. Although the file is compressed to less than half its original bandwidth, I think it should give you an accurate example of the camera's quality. This footage should also look like film because it was shot in PAL mode.
